A PRIVATE SOCIETY OF CHRISTIAN
LEADERS OF CONSEQUENCE
Oskavon is a gathering of influential Christian leaders representing church, business, and society. This group gathers to be still, worship God, help and pray for each other, and collaborate on solving global challenges of particular importance.
Throughout history, influential leaders have gathered in small spaces. Some of these gatherings you know about, and some you don’t. The intent of the gatherings have varied – some good, some bad.
All of this begs the question: if a small group of Christian leaders from different spheres of influence privately gathered today, what would be their purpose? What would our Heavenly Father desire for them, invite them into, long to see in them, but also require of them?
He desires for us to be still. To rest. To be with Him. To hear from Him. To see a rebirth in our hearts and minds.
He invites us into a circle. Around a fire. On our knees. With our hands held high.
He longs for us to put our arms around each other. To share our dreams, our struggles, and our pain. To put down our differences. To heal our divides. To offer to help. To pray for each other. To lift each other up. To offer wisdom. To speak words of life into each other.
He requires us to act. To come together – to strategize and to collaborate. To leverage our influence to create lasting change where it’s needed most.
Our Greatness Lies in His Embrace.
Welcome to Oskavon.

A History of Greatness
Oskavon is ushering in a new era of the treasured
leadership legacy of this sacred land.
Korakia Pensione
Built in 1924, Korakia Pensione was the former hideaway of Scottish painter Gordon Coutts
and for generations has been a hideout for world leaders.
Winston Churchill favored the Artist Studio at Korakia Pensione, still in use today.
“We must be doers, not just hearers.”

Oskavon Change Initiative
In 2023, as part of the heart of Oskavon to leverage collective influence to effect lasting change, we adopted the magnificent country of the Dominican Republic as the place we’d place our stake in the ground for years to come. Oskavon has fallen in love with the beautiful people of the DR, and we have such a desire to make significant change in the country where it’s needed most.
At the Oskavon Retreat, you will be invited into an intimate conversation about the specific challenges facing the Dominican Republic, the work of the local church, and the ways the Compassion International child sponsorship model is transforming communities through rescuing children born into severe poverty. We will whiteboard, strategize, dream, create, and collaborate on certain elements of this complex challenge. As a community, we will create an Action Plan that will build on the work of the previous year’s Oskavon group. With a focus on a certain challenge in a certain country, we believe we can see true, lasting change that compounds every year of Oskavon.
We will then travel together to the Dominican Republic on the Oskavon Vision Trip to serve these precious children who are longing to be loved and for their dreams to be affirmed.
The goal of the Oskavon Change Initiative is to collectively get 750 children in the Dominican Republic sponsored, and you will be asked to play a significant role in that as part of your participation in this special community.
